WE NEED YOUR HELP: Trip to Bhaktivedanta Manor - Mon 29 Jan 20249 January 2024 (by Amy Salsbury (admin)) |
Dear Parents/Carers,
As you know we have an exciting whole school trip planned on 29th January to Bhaktivedanta Manor. The trip is an extremely enriching, exciting day with a cattle and plough ride, face painting, dressing up, singing and lots more.
We understand that some parents may be concerned about the food provided by the venue for lunch. Please note, this is a freshly prepared hot vegetarian lunch (child friendly, nut free and not spicy) including deep fried chips, bread, crackers, rice, curry and orange/apple juice on offer. Children can also bring a large snack to school to eat before going in to the trip and can have another snack for the journey back if they are still hungry.
Unfortunately, we have had very few contributions so far and are at risk of having to cancel the trip if we are unable to get some more support. In order to avoid any cancellation fees we will need to cancel by Thursday this week if we have not received enough parental contributions, so I would ask one last time that you please make payments through Arbor by Thursday morning – the 11th January.
Please also have a look at their website via the following link for more information about the visit: Bhaktivedanta Manor
We so hope we can go ahead with your support and give the children this incredible opportunity.
If you have any other concerns about the trip, or would like further information, please do not hesitate to contact the school office or your class teacher.
