Once again we are approaching National Census Day - a very important day in the school year!

As you may be aware, all schools are at a risk of reduced funding from the Government, one of the ways in which funding is allocated to schools is by the number of children eating school lunch (this also includes children entitled to Free School Meals) on three predetermined dates in the academic year, the next one being Thursday 18th January 2024.

We had such an amazing days on previous terms, with everyone joining in for a fun lunch with their friends with an exciting special menu.

In order to maximise the amount of funding we receive, we would like to encourage ALL children to enjoy a All Burger Lunch together again on Thursday 18th January 2024. On this occasion, the school will order a lunch for all children in receipt of universal free school meals (Reception to year 2) and would encourage other years groups to access school lunches on this day also.

We have an exciting menu planned for Thursday (see attached) consisting of:

• Beef Burger - Red
• Quorn Pattie Burger - Green

• Chicken Burger - Yellow

all served with Potato Wedges, Pasta, Sweetcorn and Coleslaw.

For dessert:

• Chocolate Sponge with Chocolate Custard

PLEASE NOTE, IF YOUR CHILD HAS AN ALLERGY MENU WE WILL ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD RECEIVES THE APPROPRIATE MEAL
