Dear Parents/Carers,

World Book Day is fast approaching,Thursday 7th March 2024, and we're gearing up for a day full of literacy fun and creativity at Saffron Green!

To make this day truly memorable, we have some fantastic activities planned:

1. Door decorating: Where we will bring the magic of books to life by decorating our classroom doors! Children  will be encouraged to get creative and showcase their favorite stories and characters.

2. Dress up as your favorite character: We invite all children to dress up as their favorite book character for the day. Whether it's Harry Potter, Matilda, or the Cat in the Hat, let's unleash our imagination and bring our beloved book figures to life!

3. Parade in the Afternoon: Later in the day, we'll have a delightful parade where children can proudly display their costumes inspired by their favorite book characters. 

We believe that celebrating literature in such a lively manner not only fosters a love for reading but also sparks creativity and imagination in our students.

Please ensure your child comes to school prepared for a day filled with literary adventures!
