Dear Parents/Carers,
Tomorrow is our Sports Day, and it's so exciting! Especially because the weather promises to be good!
Children will be in their house teams and should wear a T-shirt of that colour (or any of item of clothing eg. hair bands, socks...), black shorts or joggers and trainers. Sports Day will start with a carousel of activities during the morning and then running races in the afternoon.
Parents are welcome to come and join their children from 12 noon for a family picnic and afternoon races.
- 12:00-12:45pm will be a picnic lunch.
- All school gates will be open from 11:50 PM to 12:00 PM for parents coming to collect their children for the Picnic.
- Please collect your child by 12:00 PM and proceed to School Field.
- Gates will be closed promptly at 12:00 PM. Latecomers must go through the office and wait to be escorted to The Field.
Lunch Options:
1) Families can bring their own food (NO NUTS) - please instruct your child to choose packed lunch at the register
or
2) Choose from the Sports day Menu Sandwiches: - Please instruct your child to choose of the options below at the register
Red: Ham Sandwich
Green: Cheese Sandwich
Yellow: Tuna Sandwich
Unfortunately you cannot leave the school premises during lunch time.
- Around 12:45pm - all the children will be requested to line-up on the field to come back to class for register , while family and friends wait on field
- 1:00pm will be the approximate start of the competitive races; each class will take part in a running and an obstacle race. Parents will also be invited to take part in a men’s or women’s running race.
Parents will be able to take their children home by collecting them from their classrooms when Sports Day is finished.
We ask parents that during the competitive races that they do not encourage their children to leave their Teacher/TA to see them or siblings/family as this makes it very hard for Teachers/TAs to know where each child is and keep all the children safe.
These measures are in place to ensure the health and safety of all attendees. Thank you for your cooperation and support.
Don't forget to send your child with sun cream, hat and water bottle.
Ice-lollies will be on sale tomorrow during Sports Day. Don't miss out on a refreshing treat while you enjoy the event! Bring change or your card !
