Dear Parents/Carers,
Please find below message from the organisers:
Unfortunately due to the weather we need to postpone the Cross Country event this afternoon and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We had really hoped that the rain would have stopped this morning as originally forecast but it is now looking like it will be here all day. We have a duty of care to those attending and the ongoing rain on top of the amount that has already fallen in the last 24 hours, it is unfortunately not safe to go ahead.
We will be rearranging this event and are currently looking at new dates with Hertswood Academy. Once this is confirmed we will let you know asap.
Thank you for your understanding and we apologise again for any inconvenience this has caused.
