Dear Parents/Carers, 

TOMORROW is National Census Day - a very important day in the school year!

As you may be aware, all schools are at a risk of reduced funding from the Government, one of the ways in which funding is allocated to schools is by the number of children eating school lunch (this also includes children entitled to Free School Meals) on three predetermined dates in the academic year, the next one is TOMORROW - Thursday 3rd October 2024.

We had such an amazing days on previous years, with everyone joining in for a fun lunch with their friends with an exciting special menu.

In order to maximise the amount of funding we receive, we would like to encourage ALL children to enjoy a All Burger Lunch together again tomorrow Thursday 3rd October 2024. On this occasion, the school will order a lunch for all children in receipt of universal free school meals (Reception to year 2) and would encourage other years groups to access school lunches on this day also.

We have an favorite menu planned for Thursday (see attached) consisting of:

• Beef Burger - Red
• Quorn Pattie Burger - Green

• Chicken Burger - Yellow

all served with Chips, Pasta, Sweetcorn and Peas.

For dessert:

• Ice Cream Bar - a delicious range of Ice cream treats

PLEASE NOTE, IF YOUR CHILD HAS AN ALLERGY MENU WE WILL ENSURE THAT YOUR CHILD RECEIVES THE APPROPRIATE MEAL
