Year 1 Week 5:

To finish this week we have our harvest festival where we will be singing 'Cauliflowers Fluffy' with Year 2. We have spent this week practising our song and actions, which the children seem to have really enjoyed.

This week we started a new book in English called 'Puffin Peter' and wrote sentences using speech from different characters within the book. In Maths we were learning about Part Whole Models and how numbers can be split up using our addition knowledge. 

In our Curriculum we have been starting History where we looked at daily timelines as well as our timeline from birth to today. 

Next week is assessment week so we will be looking at how each child is getting on in English, Maths and Phonics.
