Our final week was full of Halloween themed fun and the children loved dressing up in their spooky costumes for our Halloween Disco on Thursday, showing off their best dance moves.

In Maths we progressed with our understanding of subtraction, thinking about this through using objects such as cupcakes that get eaten and thinking about how many we have left.

We have been practising our perfect sentences in English, making sure we remember to have capital letters, full stops and finger spaces.

The children also enjoyed creating Halloween themed lanterns and drawing their own scary monster masks and pumpkin designs. 

Well done to Year 1 for all their hard work.
