    Year 4 FAO 25/10/24

25 October 2024 (by Chris Brooke (Chris Brooke))

Eight weeks have passed, and I am incredibly proud of everyone in Year 4 for making it through the first part of the school year with determination and growing resilience. The children are putting so much effort into their learning and have produced some wonderful pieces of writing, which we look forward to sharing with you soon.

In honour of Black History Month, our students have created research posters highlighting significant individuals and events. These posters will be displayed both in the hallway and our classroom, allowing everyone to appreciate their hard work and learn more about the rich heritage and contributions celebrated this month.

We are focusing on times tables, and I have sent some times table practice home with the children. To encourage consistent reading, I have also informed them that I will place a sticker in their reading record each time they read over the week.

We Wish you all a safe and restful half-term holiday. I hope you enjoy whatever comes your way, and thank you, as always, for your continued support.

Please the attached Poster and timestable grid for children to use at home to help them with their timestable and division

    Warm regards,

    Mr C Brooke
