FAO Year 1 Weekly Round up 15/11/2415 November 2024 (by Ellie Gath (Ellie Gath)) |
Year 1 Weekly Roundup
This week Year 1 have been practising for the nativity, showing off their best singing voices and starting to learn our lines too. Only two more weeks left to practise!
In English we have really enjoyed reading different traditional fairy tales and creating our own fairy tale stories with our imaginary characters and happy endings.
In Maths we have been understanding how to find number bonds to 10, as well as thinking of equal groups of numbers up to 10 that we may have seen using various objects in the classroom.
We created our own windmill structures in DT and have a lovely new display for PSHE where we spoke about anti-bullying week. We coloured our own odd socks, like many of us wore this week, and thought of a word related to anti-bullying, such as kindness, respect, sharing and friendship.
Have a lovely weekend!
Miss Gath :)
