Year 1's Weekly Roundup 13/12/24

Hi everyone,

This week we have enjoyed some festive fun- we had the Santa Run on Monday, made snowflakes on Tuesday and had our Christmas lunch and film afternoon watching the Grinch with popcorn on Thursday which the children all really enjoyed. 

In English we have continued looking at recipes based on the book Gruffalo Crumble, starting the week making 'Terrible Tusks' fruit kebabs and writing down instructions to help us make them. We then wrote a recipe for a Slimy Mud Pie and thinking about what we need to throw a Gruffalo party. In Maths we have looked at numbers from 10-20, thinking about the concept of greater than, less than and equals. For Curriculum this week we focused on Geography, sharing what our favourite part of our playground is.
