Dear Parents/Carers,
Next week we will be celebrating Harvest at Saffron Green. This is a special time of year when we come together to give thanks for the food we enjoy and to reflect on the importance of sharing with others. It also helps our children to learn about gratitude, kindness, and community spirit.
As highlighted in our Events Calendar, we will begin the week with our Harvest Festival Assembly for Years 1 to 6, where parents are warmly invited to join us - Monday 06th October 9am at the School Hall.
On Thursday, we will also be enjoying a special Harvest menu for the whole school, to celebrate the wonderful food and seasonal produce that this time of year brings (full menu to be shared on Monday).
In addition, from Monday to Thursday, we will be collecting non-perishable food items, which will be donated on Friday to the Borehamwood Foodbank. Your kind donations are truly appreciated and will help to support local families in need.
