FAO Whole School : Spring Census – Important Information for Tomorrow Thursday 15th January 2614 January 2026 (by Holly Evans (admin)) |
Dear Parents/Carers,
We would like to remind you that tomorrow, Thursday 15th January, is Spring Census Day.
The school census is extremely important as it helps the government collect information about schools. The data gathered directly affects school funding, particularly funding linked to pupil numbers and school meals. For this reason, it is vital that children are in school on census day and have a school lunch.
We also wanted to let you know that we recently carried out a short survey with the children about their lunch preferences on Census Day. They told us that they preferred pizza and fish over burgers, so we listened to them !
As a result, tomorrow (Census Day) we will be serving the Friday menu, which includes:
* Margherita Pizza
* Fish Fingers
On Friday we will instead be serving the Thursday menu this week.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping us make this important day a success. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
