Dear Parents /Carers,

We’re very excited to share that Saffron Green’s Spring Disco will take place on Wednesday 18th March 2026! Tickets cost £4 per child, which includes a bag of sweets and a drink.

As we mentioned in the Autumn term, this year we are introducing a fresh new approach to our school discos. Rather than celebrating a single occasion, our discos will now reflect the different seasons and special milestones throughout the school year — giving the children many wonderful moments to look forward to and celebrate together.

These events are a lovely opportunity for the children to come together, enjoy time with their friends, and celebrate all that they have achieved during the term in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. We hope these seasonal celebrations will make each disco feel special and create happy memories for everyone involved.

Children are welcome to come dressed in any outfit they like, the focus is on enjoyment, confidence, and community spirit.

Nursery

Time: 11:00am – 11:45pm

As the previous Disco was a huge success, the Nursery Team will again create a special Spring Disco just for our Nursery children planned with their age and needs in mind, allowing them to enjoy the music, have breaks when needed, and fully experience the fun in a safe and relaxed environment.

Nursery children can come to school already dressed up for the day — ready to dance and celebrate Spring together!

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 (Key Stage 1)

Time: 3:30pm – 4:15pm

If your child wants to change outfit, please send it into school on Wednesday 18th March 2026, as children will change in their classrooms at the end of the school day. Staff will then accompany them to the school hall for the disco. Please collect your child promptly from the school office at 4:15pm.

Key Stage 2

Time: 4:30pm – 5:15pm

Children should be collected as usual at the end of the school day. They can then go home, change outfit, and return via the main gate to the school hall wearing their wristbands.The disco finishes at 5:15pm, so please be prompt when collecting your child from the school office.

Wristbands

Wristbands will be available to purchase from today Friday 6th March 2026 via Arbor and will remain on sale until Tuesday 17th March 2026.

Wristbands will be distributed to children in class on the afternoon of Wednesday 18th March.

Please note that tickets will not be available to purchase on the day, so we kindly encourage you to secure your child’s wristband in advance to avoid any disappointment.
