We are excited to inform you about an upcoming educational visit for our Year 4 pupils to the Hertford Museum on 23^rd June 2026. The objective of the visit is to see group animals in various ways, including verterbrates (mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish) and invertabrates.

Timetable and Logistics

• Departure:9:00 am from Saffron Green Primary School.
• Arrival at Venue:9:45 am at Hertford Museum
• Return to School:Arrive back to school by 15:00

The trip will be extremely exciting; unfortunately, however, it cannot go ahead without your contributions.

Consent and Payment

We require a contribution of £22.00 per child, paid on or before 21/05/26.

Other Information

• Children should wear school uniform and bring a packed lunchin a clearly labelled disposable bag. If your child is entitled to Free School Meals and you want a packed lunch to be provided to him/her on the day of the trip, please advise the school office on or before 21/05/2026.
• Please ensure your child has a refillable water bottle.
• We will provide further reminders closer to the date, including details about any additional items the children might need.

We do not want to exclude any child where a family is having difficulty in meeting costs and so, in these circumstances, please contact the school office for advice.

Please consent and make the payment as soon as possible. If we are unable to cover the cost of travel unfortunately, we will not be able to go ahead with the trip.
