Dear Parents and Carers,
Next week, our class will begin an exciting new art project. The children will design and build their own 3D woodland landscapes.
To help bring their creations to life, we are asking the children to collect and bring in natural items. If you are able to take a walk in a local park or woodland area this weekend, please look out for any of the following items:
- Small twigs and sticks (to make miniature trees and fences)
- Dry moss or lichen (for grass and bushes)
- Small pinecones or acorns (for rocks and shrubs)
- Bark pieces (to create cliffs or tree trunks)
- Small, smooth pebbles (for rivers and pathways)
- Dried leaves and flowers (of various colours and shapes)
Please ensure all collected items are clean and completely dry. Kindly send them into school with your child in a labelled carrier bag by Wednesday 8th July.
